Albuquerque orthodontist Dr. Ray Gilbert and his dedicated team work with one goal in mind…to always exceed your expectations.
As a young man Dr. Gilbert arrived in New Mexico as a middle school student from a military family. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his wife, three adult children, and many grandchildren. He has been committed to providing quality orthodontic treatment in New Mexico since 1986. Dr. Gilbert earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New Mexico with a double major in Chemistry and Biology before attending Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, MO. During dental school Dr. Gilbert earned the honor as a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the Operative Dentistry Award as well as numerous Community Contribution Awards. Following dental school Dr. Gilbert was in private practice for 2 years before furthering his education at the University of Michigan receiving a Masters Degree in Orthodontics.
Dr. Gilbert is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists as well as being a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Gilbert is a member of the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists and past president of the New Mexico Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Gilbert provides a full range of advanced services for children, teens, and adults of any age, including traditional and ceramic braces, the latest invisible aligners, and early corrective treatment.
